IG, please hear my plea

A resident of Benin City in Edo state begs for response from the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, on a petition he wrote to the IGP requesting for information to ease an upcoming court hearing.

His story:

I am TEMOFEH-NKEMNACHO A.I ESQ, a lawyer practising in Benin City.

In the month of October, 2012, I wrote a letter to the Inspector General of Police Monitoring unit, through a colleague in Abuja, G. Nwachukwu, requesting for copies of statements and petition connecting one Dr. Samuel Omoregie, Mrs. Omoregie, Mr. Tom Okonkwo, and Mrs. Esther Ize-Iyamu, from that office.

I have not gotten any cooperation or response until this moment. In the letter under reference, we stated clearly that these documents are required to enable us enhance  our place in a suit before High Court 8, Edo state judiciary, coming up for hearing on the 13th February, 2013.

It is pertinent to point out that if you do not give to us the requested help, the suit before the court would be frustrated.

I am again using this medium to solicit your assistance in enabling me get the said documents from the monitoring unit, as partners in the progress of our country.Should you decide to render to me the assistance I crave, my mailing address is: NO. 8 SAKPONBA ROAD, BENIN CITY.
